John H. Glyn-Jones, Age 90, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Passed Away On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, At The Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Glyn-Jones Was Born On October 2, 1931, In Mineola, New York, To The Late Howell And Hannah Edwards Glyn-Jones Of North Wales, UK. He Married Rita A. Kowalchik In 1955 And They Were Married For 66 Years. He and His Wife Have Lived In Maryland, Florida, And Tennessee. He Served 4 Years In The United States Air Force During The Korean War. He Was A Telephone Engineer Working With The C & P Telephone Company For 29 Years Until His Retirement In 1981. He Had A Marvelous Tenor Voice And Was In Various Church Choirs Throughout The Years And Often Sung Solos And Special Music. He Is Survived By His Wife, Rita A Kowalchik Glyn-Jones Of Monterey, TN; Son And Daughter-In-Law, John D. And Val Glyn-Jones; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; And Brother, Robert I. Glyn-Jones. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Daughter, Diane Withers; Sister, Edileen Cairns; And Brother, Jeffrey Cairns.
