Rev. Robbie Miller Officiated And Interment Followed In The Green Hill Cemetery In Alpine, Tennessee, With Full Military Honors Provided By The Veterans Honor Guard. Masonic Funeral Rites Were Conducted On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, At 7:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Mr. Cravens Was Born On February 23, 1926, In Wilder, Tennessee, To The Late James B. And Auda Hill Cravens. Mr. Cravens Passed Away On Monday, September 21, 2020, At The Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Cravens Was A Coal Miner And A Caretaker With Overton County Nursing Home. He Was A Member Of Twinton Freewill Baptist Church And Green Pond Masonic Lodge #703. He Was A United States Army Veteran Serving Tour Of Duty During World War II. He Was Survived By, 1 Daughter And Son-In-Law, Patricia And David Dunn Of Monterey, TN; 1 Son And Daughter-In-Law, Jerry And Elizabeth Cravens Of Lake Placid, FL; 1 Son-In-Law, David Norrod Of Monterey, TN; 6 Grandchildren; Numerous Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Ethel Hill Of Monroe, TN, Betty Abston Of Mayland, TN; 2 Brothers, Mikey Clovis Cravens Of Chesterfield, IN; Ralph Cravens Of Cravenstown, TN; And A Host Of Nieces And Nephews. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Wife Of Over 62 Years, Lela Norris Cravens; 2 Daughters, Kathy Norrod And Linda Kay Abston; Special Grandson, Chad Cravens; 2 Sisters, Effie Stover And Ruby Frogge; And 2 Brothers, Dayton Cravens And Bill Cravens.
